The pups are now 26 days old (4 weeks on Sunday), their little characters are coming out. I have described a little bit about each pup below, but I am sure these will change as they get older and more confident. All pups are still putting on lots of weight, currently 2.58kg to 2.91kg, most are putting about 100g a day on. They continue to keep growing, now are quite big, defiantly following in their father's shoes. They currently have four meals a day of solid food, which all of them love so much, and then loads of milk from Holly in between. Holly bless her, sometimes can't get back to feed them quick enough, so we have had some milk accidents (bless her). The pups have been wearing for a bit each day collars so they get used to it, not that they even realise they have it on. They are also getting brushed which they all love and keep quite still for. They are also good as gold when it comes to nail clipping. I am also giving each pup some time on their own to play with me with toys and have cuddles. We have been introducing the pups to noises (played on a CD espically aimed to get them used to noises) and new toys.
Sorry there are not many photos today, I get very carried away playing with them all and just watching them. I promise to get more over the weekend.
Seal boy, bit of a winger, loves being cuddled, loves biting my ankles and pulling at my trousers, likes to play but loves his food even more. Has two violet to deep blue eyes, think these may turn brown. Seal's coat keeps changing, in places it looks to be going quite dark, though if you brush his coat the opposite direction, it is quite light underneath.
Two Spot, the largest of the pups since the start. The first to interact with toys, loves to play and have cuddles, also loves my toes (follows after his father). Sometimes quiet, observing the others and thanking things in, takes everything in his stride and not phased by strange things (new toys/ people/ different environments) or noises. If you look closely at the picture he has two different coloured eyes, right is light blue, the left is violet/ deep blue so unsure how these will develop as he gets older. Also starting to get naughty spots on his face, he actually has the most out of all of them, including one pair we can see (again just like his father), he is also getting back around the eye on the right side of his face.
Star, is quiet, likes to play but not when it gets too rough (you can see the expression on her face 'those boys again, just can't play nicely), likes to just get on with things. Was the first to master eating solids, takes everything in, not phased by strange things or sounds. Has two violet/ deep blue eyes, with the eye in the white fur having a nice black eye liner effect (very cute). Appears to have the shortest coat (but is the lightest/ smallest), though still long and a light frame.
Lightening boy, the boisterous one, always starts the play fights, very vocal, doesn't like new noises reacts with barks and growls, basically the noisey one of the bunch, also loves ankle biting and trouser pulling. From the face he looks the most like his father, has also one light blue eye (left one) and one violet/ deep blue eye (right one). He has the smallest frame of the boys.
One spot, always the last one to fall asleep and settle down, often trying to wake the others up to play, get vocal if hungry or tired, likes to play, takes strange things into his stride but unsure initially about new noises, likes licking my toes (another one who follows after the father), has also one light blue eye (left one) and one violet/ deep blue eye (right one). Very close between one spot and two spot on who will have the longest coat, though one spot is lighter than two spot at the moment so it's quite hard to compare, his spot has also started to merge with the black on his head on one side
